The dandelion root has been used in traditional herbal medicine for hundreds of years.

Urinary Track:Dandelion root helps with increasing urine production. Dandelion root could help rid your body of excess fluid, reduce high blood pressure and improve liver problems.

Anti-Cancer Activity (this is not a proven fact): Dandelion root might have anti-cancer properties - Some studies have suggested this.

Liver and Gallbladder: Dandelion root has been used to detoxify the liver and gallbladder.

Colon Cleanser:Dandelion roots make wonderful colon cleansing and detoxifying medications because any time digestion is improved, the absorption of nutrients and the removal of wastes from the body improve as well.

Dandelion root may interact with certain medications, including diuretics, diabetes medicines or lithium. Discuss its use with your doctor to decide if dandelion might be helpful for your situation.
